Forum Shops at Caesars: A Luxurious Las Vegas Shopping Destination

Las Vegas, Nevada — The Forum Shops at Caesars continues to stand out as a premier shopping destination in Las Vegas, offering a unique blend of luxury retail, fine dining, and entertainment since its opening in 1992.
With more than 160 storefronts and a near-zero vacancy rate, the Forum Shops attracts both tourists and locals seeking high-end products and experiences. According to mall management, the shopping center has evolved significantly since its inception, when skepticism surrounded Las Vegas as a shopping venue.
“We have become a staple for luxury brands and an essential part of the Las Vegas Strip,” said a spokesperson for the Forum Shops. “Our attention to detail and iconic features, such as the sky-painted ceilings, have helped us maintain this reputation.”
The history of the Forum Shops dates back to a time when the site was intended for the Caesars Palace Grand Prix, part of the Formula 1 World Championship. After that project was abandoned, plans for the shopping center were announced in 1987, with construction beginning in 1990. Initially developed by Simon Properties Group and The Gordon Company, the Forum Shops opened with 283,000 square feet of retail space and 45 storefronts, including high-profile brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Spago.
Multiple expansions throughout the years have solidified its status. A major expansion in 2004 added a new wing, which included 52 retailers, and was celebrated by then-Mayor Oscar Goodman, who famously stated it was, “nicer than the Vatican.” The addition of the Atlantis Show, featuring a 50,000-gallon aquarium and an animated performance, further enhanced the shopping experience.
Today, the Forum Shops offer 43 exclusive storefronts in Las Vegas, including popular brands like Urban Necessities and Glossier. Upcoming stores include a three-story Zara and an expanded Lululemon, ensuring that the Forum Shops remain competitive and relevant.
Shoppers can enjoy not only the luxury concourse with top-tier brands like Ferragamo and Chloe but also a mix of traditional Vegas offerings such as gift shops and kiosks. As the shopping landscape continues to shift, the Forum Shops aims to keep pace with changing consumer preferences.
The incorporation of entertainment options complements the sophisticated retail environment, making the Forum Shops a multifaceted destination. In addition to shopping, visitors can find immersive experiences, including the Electric Playhouse, which allows guests to engage with motion-based games and dining features.
As shopping continues to evolve, the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace has not only adapted but thrived, confirming its role as a vital component of the Las Vegas Strip’s allure.
