Fox News Jesse Watters Jessica Tarlov Argument

NEW YORK, May 1, 2025 — Fox News host Jesse Watters made a controversial joke during a heated discussion about immigration policies on the show The Five, targeting co-host Jessica Tarlov. Watters accused Tarlov of shooting President Donald Trump in the ear, amidst escalating tensions regarding the Trump administration’s deportation strategies.

The exchange unfolded when Tarlov raised concerns about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), sharing a story about a family in Oklahoma City that was removed from their home in the early hours of the morning. “There are citizens who have been by ICE,” Tarlov stated.

Co-host Jeanine Pirro responded by saying, “And then brought back home. They made a mistake.” Tarlov sharply retorted, challenging the notion that such actions were acceptable: “I know that you think that’s fine, and I’m gonna haul you out of your house at 2 o’clock in the morning in your underpants, and you’re gonna tell me it’s just fine.”

As the conversation continued, Tarlov accused the Trump administration of “targeting immigration attorneys.” Watters, however, shifted the focus to Tarlov, implying that she had taken extreme actions against Trump. “I mean, you targeted the president! You went to Mar-a-Lago and her [First Lady Melania Trump’s] underwear drawer,” Watters asserted. Tarlov firmly denied the accusation, explaining that Trump was not even present when the event occurred.

Watters then joked again, “And then you shot him in the ear. It’s okay.” Tarlov responded, “I didn’t shoot him!” to which Watters insisted, “You did. Everybody knows it.” Tarlov countered, “Actually, no, and where is that guy?”

Co-host Greg Gutfeld joined the banter, questioning the origin of doxxing, suggesting it was invented by Tarlov’s side. “What side invented doxxing? Who came up with doxxing? It wasn’t a Republican,” he stated, to which Tarlov replied, “What?” Watters concluded, “Yeah, you, Jessica.”

The exchange highlights the ongoing division and contentious debates surrounding immigration and the Trump administration’s policies. Watch the full debate on Fox News.
