Will Cain Fox News Show Announcement

NEW YORK — Fox News announced a major programming overhaul Monday, including the launch of “The Will Cain Show” in the 4 p.m. ET weekday timeslot and expanded weekend programming. The changes, effective January 18, come as the network aims to adapt to the evolving media landscape.

Will Cain, current co-host of “FOX & Friends Weekend,” will transition to his new weekday show on January 21. The program will feature interviews with newsmakers across politics, business, culture, and sports. Cain expressed enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “It has been an honor to wake up with America these past four years and I am thrilled to apply my background in news, law, entertainment, and business to help our viewers better understand the headlines.”

Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott emphasized the network’s commitment to innovation in a statement: “We are always looking to innovate our programming lineup to meet the needs of our viewers. Will Cain brings years of experience to the 4 p.m. hour as an accomplished broadcaster and a lawyer.”

Charlie Hurt, a Fox News contributor and opinion editor at The Washington Times, will replace Cain on “FOX & Friends Weekend.” Hurt will join Rachel Campos-Duffy on the weekend morning show starting January 18, coinciding with the expansion of “The Fox Report” and “The Big Weekend Show” to two-hour formats on Saturdays and Sundays.

On the business side, Fox Business Network will expand “The Big Money Show” to a two-hour weekday format from 12-2 p.m. ET beginning January 27. Dagen McDowell will join the expanded show while continuing to co-host “The Bottom Line” at 6 p.m. ET.

Cain’s move to afternoons follows his successful tenure on weekend mornings, where he has interviewed high-profile guests including former President Donald Trump, actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy. His podcast, also titled “The Will Cain Show,” will continue to produce new episodes and simulcast on Fox News Digital.
