Frankie Muniz Reveals 21-Year Silence with Hilary Duff and Past Hollywood Romances
Former teen movie star Frankie Muniz has disclosed a 21-year silence with his former co-star and girlfriend Hilary Duff, along with some intriguing details about his Hollywood romances.
Muniz, now 38, shared during an interview that he hasn’t exchanged a word with Duff since their time filming the popular movie ‘Agent Cody Banks‘ in 2003, where they played love interests.
The revelation unraveled a past incident during the filming of Duff’s Disney Channel series ‘Lizzie McGuire,’ in which Muniz made a cameo appearance. He mentioned a conversation with Duff’s mother, Susan, that led to tensions in their relationship.
According to Muniz, the conflict arose when Susan expressed interest in Duff taking the lead role in ‘Agent Cody Banks,’ a decision that didn’t sit well with him due to a clause in his contract that allowed him to select the female lead for the movie.
Amid hints at secret romances with other high-profile co-stars like Amanda Bynes and Hannah Spearritt, Muniz refrained from disclosing names while teasing fans that they would be astounded if they knew the details.
Now residing in Arizona with his wife Paige and son Mauz Mosley, Muniz explained his departure from the Hollywood spotlight in 2008 was driven by a desire to prioritize his mental well-being, stating his discontent with Los Angeles.
As a contestant on the upcoming season of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!,’ Muniz expressed apprehensions about the show’s food challenges, revealing his extreme picky eating habits, including never having tasted a strawberry.
Furthermore, Muniz revealed his charitable motivation for participating in the reality series, aiming to raise awareness and funds for Dementia Australia following the recent loss of his grandmother to the disease.
The competition, set to premiere on Channel 10, will see Muniz and a lineup of celebrities vie for the title of king or queen of the jungle over four weeks, with a $100,000 prize earmarked for the winner’s chosen charity.
