Fubar Netflix Finale Recap

LOS ANGELES, CA — The highly anticipated season finale of Netflix’s FUBAR concluded with an array of dramatic twists and action-packed moments on June 11, 2025. The episode, titled ‘Let’s Twist Again,’ revealed the shocking identity of the series’ villain and the fate of key characters.

In a race against time, super spy Luke Brunner, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, and his team fought to prevent a nuclear missile launch that could trigger a war with Russia. The episode unveiled that Chips, a once trusted member of Luke’s team played by Guy Burnet, was actually the shadowy terrorist Dante Cress all along.

Throughout the season, Chips operated under the guise of loyalty but proved to be a double agent. His motives were unveiled in a dramatic monologue, where he expressed his desires to reset the world due to deep-seated issues with his father. The conflict escalated as Luke’s former love, Greta, portrayed by Carrie-Anne Moss, bravely confronted the missile threat to save the day.

Creator Nick Santora reflected on the emotional stakes, saying, “It was sad. We thought the instrumental version of ‘Buffalo Stance’ would be funny, but it was actually kind of emotional.” Greta eventually survived what seemed a lethal impact, using a clever technique to shield herself from the crash landing.

The conclusion saw Luke proposing to his ex-wife Tally, portrayed by Fabiana Udenio, hinting at a hopeful reunion. However, characters Carter and Donnie, interpreted by Jay Baruchel and Andy Buckley respectively, faced a more uncertain future, ending up in a less than desirable situation following their chaotic experiences.

As the finale wrapped up, it was clear that while relationships had changed, there was room for growth and new adventures in a potential third season. The narrative left viewers eager to see how the twists would affect the characters going forward. FUBAR streams exclusively on Netflix.
