Fuecoco Takes Center Stage in March Pokémon GO Community Day

REDMOND, Wash. — Pokémon GO is heating up with the announcement of its March Community Day, featuring Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon. Scheduled for March 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, this event promises increased encounters with Fuecoco, including the chance for trainers to catch a Shiny version of the Pokémon.

On this exciting day, trainers can evolve Fuecoco into Crocalor at any point during March Community Day or within the following week. This evolution will reward players with a Skeledirge that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn — a move that is sure to boost battle strategies.

In addition to abundant Fuecoco encounters, trainers can engage in multiple types of research opportunities during the event. Event-themed Field Research will be available for free, allowing participants to complete tasks related to catching Fuecoco to earn rewards such as Stardust and Great Balls.

For those looking for exclusive content, tickets for the Fuecoco Community Day-exclusive Special Research will be available for $2.00. Players who complete this research will earn valuable prizes including a Premium Battle Pass and encounters with Fuecoco featuring a seasonal special background.

Moreover, trainers who log in during the event will gain access to additional Timed Research, which must be completed by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time to claim rewards.

The announcement comes on the heels of another event in Pokémon GO, the Powerful Potential event, which runs from March 5 to March 10. This event introduces Kubfu, the Legendary Fighting-type Pokémon from the Isle of Armor expansion, further enriching the game with new content and features.
