The Game Forced to Sell Mansion After $7 Million Judgment

CALABASAS, Calif. — Rapper The Game is set to sell his mansion following a court ruling aimed at satisfying a $7.13 million judgment obtained by Priscilla Rainey, a woman who accused him of sexual assault in 2015. A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge approved the sale on May 5, 2025, after Rainey requested it as a means to collect the damages awarded to her.
The judgment stems from allegations that The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, forced Rainey to endure inappropriate touching while filming his VH1 dating show, *She’s Got Game*. The rapper did not attend court for the initial trial, resulting in a default judgment against him in 2016, where he was ordered to pay Rainey $1.13 million in compensatory damages and $6 million in punitive damages.
Rainey has been persistent in her efforts to collect on the judgment, noting that The Game’s mansion has an estimated market value of $4 million. However, even if the mansion sells at that price, he would still owe her approximately $3 million. Rainey’s attorney argued in court that The Game attempted to hide the property under JTT Holdings, a company that they claim is a shell entity for the rapper.
The court determined that the property could be sold despite The Game’s attempts to claim ownership was through JTT Holdings. The judge found that the sale might produce sufficient funds to partially satisfy Rainey’s judgment.
The Game responded to the accusations publicly in 2016, asserting on social media that he never assaulted Rainey and that the legal case was a frivolous attempt to extort money from him. He has maintained this position, despite his previous legal troubles. As of now, The Game has not made any statements regarding the recent ruling.
Rainey has also pursued collecting from The Game’s music royalties and is actively working to enforce the judgment as her legal battle enters its second decade.
