Garth Brooks Announces Release of ‘The Anthology Part V’ on April 4

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Garth Brooks is set to release ‘The Anthology Part V: The Comeback, The First Five Years’ on April 4, available through Amazon and TalkShopLive. This latest volume chronicles Brooks’ return to performing in 2014 following a 14-year hiatus to focus on family.

Despite initial uncertainties about fan reception, Brooks’ comeback tour grossed over 6.2 million tickets across 391 shows. ‘The Comeback’ offers an all-access pass to this significant period in his career, highlighting the challenges he faced as the music industry evolved.

The anthology features six CDs with 66 songs, including seven live recordings, alongside more than 150 previously unseen photographs. The intimate collection captures the essence of Brooks’ remarkable journey back to the stage, during which he won two CMA Entertainer of the Year awards.

To promote the release, Brooks will host a series of weekly discussions with bandmates and collaborators on TalkShopLive. The first conversation, featuring drummer Mike Palmer and fiddler Jimmy Mattingly, will air on March 10. Other guests in this lineup include Warren Zanes, Karyn Rochelle, and his wife Trisha Yearwood, who will conclude the series on the release date, April 4.

These conversations will be simulcast on Amazon Live and GarthBrooks.com, providing fans with shoppable opportunities as they celebrate Brooks’ long-awaited return to music.
