George Strait And Chris Stapleton Concert Announcement

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — George Strait, hailed as the King of Country, has announced an extension of his stadium tour alongside 11-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton for 2025. The new dates will kick off on May 10 in Philadelphia and include four additional stops featuring special guest Parker McCollum.

Strait made headlines following his record-breaking concert at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field, which drew a staggering 110,905 fans, setting a new benchmark for ticketed events in the United States. The concert was part of just ten live performances by the country icon in 2024, which also included a landmark event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

“I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back,” said Strait. “Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have. Thank you for an amazing year last year, and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year,” he added, expressing his excitement for the upcoming shows.

The newly added 2025 tour dates include performances at renowned venues: Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on May 10, Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on May 31, Highmark Stadium in Buffalo on June 14, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on June 21. Additionally, Little Big Town will join the tour as a special guest for a show in Inglewood, California, on July 19.

Tickets for the newly announced shows will be available on February 21 at 10 a.m. local time, with American Express offering a presale for card members starting on February 20. Fans can register for access to early tickets through the official channels.

Last year’s concert performances showcased songs from Strait’s latest album, “Cowboys And Dreamers,” which features 13 new tracks, including collaborations with Stapleton. The album has received praise for its traditional country sound, affirming Strait’s longstanding influence in the genre.

Strait’s legacy in country music is unmatched; he has sold more than 105 million albums and holds the record for the most No. 1 songs in history, with 60 chart-toppers. His career spans decades, marked by consistent hits and numerous accolades.

Strait’s commitment to live music remains steadfast as he continues to tour with Stapleton, known for his own impressive accolades, including multiple CMA and Grammy awards. Stapleton is fresh off a successful year as well, with his album “Higher” receiving critical acclaim and commercial success.

Parker McCollum, an emerging star in country music, will be joining Strait and Stapleton and has been recognized for his authentic sound and relatable lyrics. With previous hits under his belt and an increasing fan base, McCollum is set to elevate the concert experience in these stadium performances.
