Georgia’s Branch Shines as Bulldogs Prepare for Alabama Showdown

ATHENS, Ga. — Zach Branch captured attention as he helped the Georgia Bulldogs secure a bittersweet victory against Tennessee last weekend. With the game tied at 38-38 and just 2:32 left in regulation, Branch caught a crucial two-point conversion on a fourth down play that brought the sideline to life.

Branch skillfully maneuvered early in the huddle, aligning to the left before motioning to the right. At the snap, he switched back to the left, finding himself wide open in the end zone. Quarterback Stockton quickly spotted him and delivered an accurate throw, tying the game. “I left the huddle early because I wanted to make sure I’m at the right split,” Branch explained. “We practiced those plays a lot. When the opportunity came, I knew the ball was coming to me, and I had to make that play.”
