Glaswegian singer-songwriter, Gerry Cinnamon, dazzled fans at the TRNSMT festival in Glasgow Green, sporting a unique Peaky Blinders-inspired outfit.

The 39-year-old artist’s headline set was a sight to behold, with popular Line of Duty star, Martin Compston, spotted among the crowd, enjoying the festivities.

Despite security measures in place, enthusiastic fans lit up the night with red and green pyrotechnics, adding to the electrifying atmosphere at the event.

The highlight of Cinnamon’s performance was a stunning display of fireworks that painted the sky above the stage before he belted out his hit track, ‘Belter’.

A myriad of guitar switches and harmonica performances kept the audience engaged throughout Cinnamon’s set, as he charmed the crowd with his warm words, proclaiming, “Beautiful mayhem. We take care of each other. That’s how we do it in Glasgow.”

Each song in his setlist, including ‘Fickle McSelfish’, ‘Canter’, and ‘Diamonds In The Mud’, resonated with the fans, showcasing Cinnamon’s musical prowess and connection with his hometown audience.

Viewers tuning in to BBC‘s coverage of TRNSMT were disappointed to find that Gerry Cinnamon’s headline set was not aired by the broadcaster, prompting social media backlash from fans eagerly awaiting the performance.

The festival, which brought together music enthusiasts from all over, also featured other acts like the Courteeners, adding to the diverse lineup that captivated attendees over the weekend.
