Get Ready for You Season 5 Premiere with Mooney’s Bookstore Events

NEW YORK, NY — Fans of the popular thriller series “You” can participate in a unique farewell event as Season 5 comes to a close. The show’s final season will premiere on April 24, but dedicated fans can catch an early glimpse during a virtual fan screening on April 23, featuring star Penn Badgley.

To celebrate, a pop-up version of Mooney’s Bookstore from the show will open its doors at 489 Broome Street in New York on April 22 and 23. This special event will run from noon to 8 p.m. ET, allowing fans to explore and engage in a literary scavenger hunt to uncover exclusive merchandise and prizes.

“We always said that we would stop after five seasons, and in a perfect world, we would bring Joe back home to New York,” said Michael Foley, co-showrunner of “You.” “We’re excited by the fact that Joe came home as such a different person than we saw in Season 1.”

The scavenger hunt at Mooney’s will be open to all attending fans, promising first-come, first-served opportunities. Attendees will also be able to take advantage of rare merchandise items. Following the bookshop events, the virtual screening will allow fans from around the globe to connect, culminating in a live Q&A session with Badgley.

From April 16-23, bookstores nationwide will also host their own “You” scavenger hunts, giving fans across the country the chance to win free merchandise and gain access to the virtual events.
