Ghosts Tv Show Characters Watching Survivor With Jeff Probst

In a unique crossover promotion, the spirits from the CBS comedy series Ghosts are tuning in to the popular reality show Survivor, with a special focus on host Jeff Probst. This initiative, which began on October 23, features the ghosts from Ghosts watching and commenting on episodes of Survivor during commercial breaks. The promotional campaign will run until the conclusion of Survivor Season 47 in December.

The first promotional spots include a social media clip and a segment airing during an episode of Survivor. In the social media clip, characters Pete, Thorfinn, and Hetty are seen watching Survivor. Hetty, a 19th-century robber baron, is particularly captivated by Jeff Probst, exclaiming over his dimples. This interaction sets the tone for the ghosts’ weekly commentary on Survivor.

The idea for this crossover originated at San Diego Comic-Con this summer, where Ghosts star and Survivor enthusiast Rebecca Wisocky (who plays Hetty) discussed the concept with CBS Marketing personnel. Each week, different characters from Ghosts will share their thoughts on the latest Survivor episodes, adding a humorous and unique twist to the traditional Survivor viewing experience.

This crossover is part of CBS’s efforts to engage audiences across different shows and platforms, highlighting the versatility and appeal of both Ghosts and Survivor. Ghosts is currently in its fourth season, airing Thursdays at 8:30 pm, while Survivor airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on CBS).
