Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby Pivot GnA Brand to Focus on Wellness and Community Engagement
Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby, cast members of *The Real Housewives of Potomac*, have announced a significant shift in their business venture, GnA. Initially launched as an athleisure line during Season 8 of the show, GnA is now expanding to focus more on wellness, community engagement, and activism.
In an exclusive interview with *The Daily Dish*, Ashley Darby explained the reasoning behind this pivot. “We’re expanding on what wellness means. Initially, we were just doing it from an apparel perspective, but now we’ve decided to do more community engagement and involvement and also some activism. That’s why we decided to also do GnA fusion,” she stated.
While they have not entirely abandoned their apparel line, it is no longer the main priority due to the high costs involved. Instead, they are venturing into wellness events and partnering with different organizations. This new direction aims to be more holistic, focusing not just on physical appearance but also on inner well-being.
A key cause for the business partners is the National Brain Tumor Society, a charity close to their hearts following the passing of Gizelle’s father, Curtis Graves, from brain cancer in 2023. The ladies have been involved in fundraising for this cause, including an event featured on the Season 9 premiere of *RHOP*.
Ashley detailed their new approach, which includes reaching out to local vendors in DC, engaging with local entrepreneurs, and incorporating fitness and education components into their events. The goal is to help people understand and achieve overall health and well-being.
