Elden Ring Nightreign Gameplay Network Test

LOS ANGELES, March 28, 2025 — Thousands of gamers around the world recently participated in Bandai Namco Entertainment‘s Network Test for the upcoming title, Elden Ring Nightreign, where they faced fierce challenges and competed against the formidable Nightlord, Gladius.

The Network Test, which ran over a several-day period, allowed players to explore the dangers of Limveld and engage in cooperative gameplay. Participants took on hordes of enemies and experimented with various weapons in preparation for the game’s release on May 30, 2025.

During the testing period, players defeated Gladius a total of 58,615 times. According to Bandai Namco, a staggering 23,627,489 attacks were performed to revive downed teammates, demonstrating the game’s cooperative focus.

“Teamwork is critical in Nightreign,” said a spokesperson from Bandai Namco. “Players must band together to survive all three nights and ultimately face the Nightlord. This makes the revival mechanic a crucial element of gameplay.”

Players collected valuable resources during the test, amassing impressive kill statistics. Notably, 194,996 Golden Hippopotamuses, 164,974 Flame Chariots, and 150,128 Fire Monks were eliminated, resulting in a robust economy of runes to boost character progression.

However, danger lurked as players also faced the high stakes of losing runes upon death. In total, Network Test participants lost a staggering 37,957,453,867 runes when they failed to retrieve them before subsequent deaths.

To expedite travel in the expansive game world, players summoned Spectral Hawks 427,533 times. The game includes diverse gameplay mechanics and dynamic environments, which provide opportunities for players to team up and devise unique strategies.

Bands of up to three players work together to survive multiple nights of threats, collecting equipment and upgrading their characters with runes earned from combat. Each night culminates in a boss battle, with increasing difficulty that reflects player progress.

Elden Ring Nightreign is set for release on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. As excitement builds ahead of its launch, many players are eager to dive back into the world of Elden Ring to face the challenges that await them.
