Golden Knights Seek Revenge Against Sharks in Preseason Clash

San Jose, California – The Vegas Golden Knights are set to face the San Jose Sharks for the second time this preseason on Friday, September 26, at 7 p.m. at SAP Center.
The Golden Knights are looking for their second consecutive win after their overtime victory against the Utah Mammoth on Thursday. In that game, Vegas rallied from a two-goal deficit, with player scoring twice in the third period before netting the game-winner on a breakaway.
“We need to build on this momentum and perform better than our first meeting with San Jose,” said head coach.
<pIn their earlier preseason matchup on September 21, Vegas lost to San Jose 3-0, marking a tough start to their exhibition schedule.
The pre-season schedule continues for the Golden Knights with several upcoming games, including a contest on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche.
In the 2024-25 season, Vegas had a strong showing against the Sharks, finishing with a perfect 3-0 record in regular season games. Their most recent meeting resulted in a 4-2 victory at SAP Center.
“We have to come out with fresh legs and a better attitude this time,” said captain.
As this game approaches, players are eager to prove themselves and solidify their positions on the roster ahead of the regular season.
