Gordon Ramsay Transforms Two Phoenix Restaurants in New Show

Phoenix, Arizona – Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay brings his signature tough love to two metro Phoenix restaurants on his new show, “Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service.” The show premiered on May 21 and offers a unique twist on his traditional restaurant makeover format.

Unlike previous shows such as “Kitchen Nightmares,” Ramsay secretly monitors the restaurants at night using advanced security technology before revealing his plans for transformation. The second episode features Caffe Boa Ahwatukee, an Italian restaurant that has been serving the community since 1995. The restaurant has changed ownership, and the struggles of the new owners are showcased dramatically.

Episode three, airing on June 4, focuses on Mrs. White’s Golden Rule Cafe, founded in 1964. At 102 years old, owner Elizabeth White is still alive but has stepped back from daily operations. In a teaser for the episode, Ramsay passionately admonishes Larry White, Elizabeth’s son, about the importance of preserving his mother’s legacy.

Viewers can watch Caffe Boa Ahwatukee’s episode on streaming platforms, including Hulu, while the episode featuring Mrs. White’s Golden Rule Cafe will air at 8 p.m. on Fox 10 Phoenix on June 4.

In other news, celebrity chef Bobby Flay is expanding his restaurant chain, Bobby’s Burgers, beyond the confines of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The first Arizona location debuted in 2023 and more standalone sites are set to open across the metro area over the next couple of years.

The new locations, run by franchisee Joe Sample, will allow residents to enjoy Flay’s diverse burger offerings without needing a plane ticket. Menu highlights include a nacho burger, a BBQ smokehouse burger, and options for vegetarians.

Construction is underway on the first metro Phoenix Bobby’s Burgers location, expected to open in 2026. The chain features five different milkshake flavors, ensuring that dessert lovers have something to enjoy, too.
