Mobland Series Paramount+ Crime Drama

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26, 2025 — Guy Ritchie‘s upcoming crime drama, titled “MobLand,” is set to premiere on Paramount+ on March 30, 2025. The series stars Pierce Brosnan, Tom Hardy, and Helen Mirren, and follows two rival crime families based in London as they navigate a global syndicate.

Brosnan plays Conrad Harrigan, the patriarch of one of the families, while Hardy portrays Harry Da Souza, a fiercely loyal fixer charged with safeguarding Conrad’s family interests. Mirren takes on the role of Maeve Harrigan, Conrad’s wife and the family matriarch.

The series features a robust cast, including Paddy Considine as Kevin Harrigan, Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza, Lara Pulver as Bella Harrigan, and Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan, adding depth to the crime saga. The storyline has been described as an electrifying drama of loyalty and power struggles amongst organized crime members.

Originally conceived as a spinoff of the Showtime series “Ray Donovan,” “MobLand” has evolved into a standalone project. The show explores the dynamics and conflicts between two crime families whose reach extends across the globe, shedding light on the gritty realties of their world.

Paramount+ will initially release “MobLand” in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia, with additional markets to follow in late 2025. This strategic rollout signifies the platform’s ambition to strengthen its drama catalog, particularly in the crime genre.

The executive production team includes Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, and Guy Ritchie himself, alongside other notable producers. “MobLand” signifies a significant collaboration between MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, promising a blend of intricate storytelling and high-octane drama.

As viewers anticipate the premiere, Ritchie’s established filmmaking style, coupled with an all-star cast, has generated considerable buzz around the series, positioning it as a potential hit for the streaming service.
