Hachette Boardgames Announces Two New Card Games for 2024 Release
Hachette Boardgames, an established game publisher, is thrilled to unveil its latest additions to their game catalog with two upcoming card games set to release in 2024.
One of the new games, Line-it, developed by the renowned game studio Gigamic, offers a strategic gameplay experience. Players will strategically construct lines of cards, aiming to arrange them in ascending or descending numerical order, all in a bid to score the highest number of points. The game includes drafting mechanics and dynamic gameplay that forces players to decide when to close off their card lines for optimal rewards. Designed for one to two players aged 8 and up, Line-it promises an engaging gaming session lasting approximately 20 minutes.
The second card game called Pass Pass, created by Funnyfox, centers around trick-taking mechanics and clever strategies. Players will have to form temporary alliances with each other to advance their strategies. The main objective is to collect the most cards and score points by obtaining cards with precious diamonds. The player with the highest score after three rounds wins, unless a player manages to collect three “pass passes” (sets of cards from different colors) beforehand. Pass Pass caters to three to six players aged 8 and up, with each round lasting between 20 and 30 minutes.
Both Line-it and Pass Pass will be conveniently priced at $14.99, making them accessible to a wide range of players.
In addition to the exciting game announcements, Hachette Boardgames is proud to share that they have welcomed Super Meeple as their newest studio partner. This partnership further strengthens Hachette Boardgames’ position in the industry and promises even more exciting game releases in the future.
