Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart Spotted Kissing in NYC Subway

NEW YORK CITY, NY — Actors Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart delighted fans on Monday when they were spotted sharing a kiss at a subway station in Manhattan. This rare public appearance marked Ford’s first time taking the subway in years, according to reports.
The couple was seen strolling through the Upper West Side before descending into the subway. Flockhart, 60, hurried to catch her express Downtown 2 train for her off-Broadway play, while Ford, 82, followed her instructions to board the Downtown 1 train, disembarking at 59th Street.
While on the train, Ford struck up a conversation with a fellow commuter, revealing that he hadn’t ridden the subway in years. Witnesses noted he was dressed casually in a button-down shirt, dark blue jeans, and black boots, accessorized with black-rimmed glasses.
In contrast, Flockhart wore a gray sweater, baggy blue jeans, a blue hat, and a black face mask, carrying a black backpack as they navigated the busy subway system. The couple shared an affectionate kiss on the platform before parting ways, a gesture that did not go unnoticed by fellow passengers.
This outing comes shortly after Ford’s representative confirmed he was diagnosed with shingles, which led to his withdrawal from presenting at the recent Oscars. A week prior, he attended the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, where he was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Apple TV+’s “Shrinking.” He lost the award to Martin Short from “Only Murders in the Building.”
During the SAG Awards, Ford provided insight into Flockhart’s absence, stating, “My wife is in New York doing a play.” Flockhart is currently starring in “Curse of the Starving Class,” a production by the late Sam Shepard.
Ford and Flockhart first met at the 59th Golden Globe Awards in 2002 and wed in June 2010 at the Governor’s Mansion in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They share a son, Liam, whom Flockhart adopted in 2001.
In a recent conversation at PaleyLive’s “An Evening of Shrinking,” Ford expressed his desire to work with Flockhart again, stating, “That’s just the circumstantial reality where we haven’t been offered something where we’d work together,” emphasizing that he would “love to work” with the “Ally McBeal” star.
