Harrison Ford Lapd Brentwood Wildfires 2023

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Hollywood legend Harrison Ford was escorted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to check on his Brentwood home on Wednesday as wildfires continued to ravage parts of the city. The 82-year-old actor, best known for his roles in “Indiana Jones” and “Star Wars,” was photographed speaking with officers and riding in an LAPD vehicle to assess the safety of his property.

Ford appeared calm and composed during the ordeal, flashing a smile at one point while enjoying an iced beverage and chatting with police. He was dressed casually in jeans, a T-shirt, and a black jacket, without any protective gear. The condition of his home remains unknown as the fires continue to spread.

The wildfires, which broke out before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, have forced the evacuation of thousands of residents in Brentwood and surrounding areas. According to reports, more than 1,000 homes have been destroyed, and the fire has yet to be contained. California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency as over 70,000 Los Angeles residents were ordered to evacuate.

Ford is not the only celebrity affected by the devastating fires. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, and Paris Hilton are among the many stars who have faced property damage or evacuation orders. Hilton shared an emotional Instagram post about her son, Phoenix, taking his first steps amid the chaos.

Other notable figures impacted include Eugene Levy, Miles Teller, Keleigh Teller, Anna Faris, Anthony Hopkins, and Fergie. Ben Affleck was also seen monitoring the situation as his Pacific Palisades home came under threat.

In response to the crisis, Bethenny Frankel, former star of “Real Housewives of New York City,” has mobilized her charity, BStrong, in partnership with the Global Empowerment Mission to provide relief to those affected. The wildfires have left a trail of destruction, with many residents and celebrities alike grappling with the aftermath.
