HBO Confirms Season 4 of The White Lotus Amid Season 3 Climax

LOS ANGELES, CA — HBO has officially confirmed a fourth season of its acclaimed series, The White Lotus, just days before the highly anticipated season 3 finale, set to air April 6.
The third season is currently unfolding at an upscale resort in Thailand, depicting the intertwined lives of guests and staff over a chaotic week. Following its captivating narrative arc, fans are now eager to learn what lies ahead in the next installment.
HBO announced the renewal for Season 4 before Season 3 even premiered earlier this year, much to the delight of loyal viewers. However, details regarding the cast, location, and premiere date for the upcoming season have yet to be disclosed. Executive Producer Mike White has previously reached out to the Norwegian Film Institute to request a grant to film a season in Norway, but as it stands, filming for The White Lotus has consistently taken place at Four Seasons resorts—of which there are none in Scandinavia.
“Mike does not like the cold… He is a California guy. He is not built for the cold,” said producer David Bernad, casting doubt on a wintry setting for the next season. HBO programming executive Francesca Oris mentioned at the Season 3 premiere, “I can’t really say where we’re going to land, but chances are somewhere in Europe.”
Each season to date has taken viewers to picturesque locales, from Hawaii in Season 1 to Sicily in Season 2. As the third season’s finale approaches, fans are speculating on who might survive the dramatic twists. Two recurring characters, spa manager Belinda and Greg, are the only cast members confirmed to return, pending their survival during the current season.
As the suspense builds, online discussions also revolve around the fatal outcome teased at the beginning of this season, alongside sheer intrigue about the Ratliff family and other characters, including Rick Hatchett, whose dark pathways have engaged viewers. “Audiences are currently waiting with bated breath to find out who dies,” emphasized an industry insider.
