Helldivers 2 Unveils New ‘Servants of Freedom’ Warbond Pack

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Arrowhead Game Studios announced the launch of the ‘Servants of Freedom‘ Warbond for Helldivers 2, set to release on February 6, 2025. The new content pack introduces explosive gear and weapons designed to help players spread ‘Managed Democracy’ across the galaxy.

The Warbond includes the B-100 Portable Hellbomb, a backpack-mounted explosive with a 10-second countdown, and the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle, an energy-based weapon that overheats but delivers devastating damage. Players can also equip the GP-20 Ultimatum, a grenade pistol for close-range combat, and the G-50 Seeker, a throwable drone that targets and explodes near enemies.

New armor sets, the IE-3 Martyr and IE-12 Righteous, feature robe-inspired designs and the Integrated Explosives passive ability, causing players to detonate upon death. The update also introduces capes, player titles, and emotes to further immerse players in the game’s democratic fervor.

Helldivers 2, a third-person co-op PvE game, is available on PlayStation 5 and PC. The Warbond requires the base game, Super Credits, and game progression to unlock.
