Hiphop Tamizha Adhi‘s latest science fiction action thriller, ‘Kadaisi Ulaga Por‘, is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 25. The film will be available in both Tamil and Telugu languages, catering to a broader regional audience. Originally released in theaters on September 20, ‘Kadaisi Ulaga Por’ garnered positive reviews but had limited exposure due to its restricted screen time amidst numerous other releases.

The decision to delay the digital release until closer to the Diwali festival is seen as a strategic move by the filmmakers to maximize viewership and engagement during the festive season. Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, a prominent figure in Tamil cinema known for his work as a music director and actor, took on multiple roles in this film as the director, lead actor, and music composer.

‘Kadaisi Ulaga Por’ features an ensemble cast including Nassar, Natty (Natarajan Subramaniam), Anagha, and Singampuli, which contributed significantly to its status as a high-budget production. Despite its limited theatrical run, the film managed to earn respectable box office numbers and performed well in pre-sales, making it a profitable venture.

Alongside its debut on Prime Video, the movie will also be available on other streaming platforms, enhancing its accessibility to a global audience. The story of ‘Kadaisi Ulaga Por’ is set in the year 2028, at a time when looming threats of World War III place Earth on the brink of chaos. The narrative unfolds with economic sanctions being imposed globally, including on India, amid geopolitical tensions and a new coalition led by China.

Meanwhile, ‘Kadaisi Ulaga Por’ is also making its way to international audiences through the OTT platform Tentkotta, outside India, where it will stream starting October 25. The notification on the platform’s official handle emphasized the anticipation surrounding the film, describing it as “The War for unity.”

Production aspects of the movie included cinematography by Arjunraja and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav, further solidifying Hiphop Tamizha Adhi’s comprehensive involvement in the project. The film’s dynamic musical score has been created by the Hiphop Tamizha duo, who have previously composed music for various other film projects.
