PARIS, France — Hiromi Rollin is facing a difficult reality following the controversy surrounding her relationship with the late actor Alain Delon. Once described by Delon as his ‘Japanese companion,’ Rollin’s life changed dramatically in the summer of 2023 due to allegations from Delon’s children, including harassment and abuse.

According to the book Les derniers jours du Samouraï, published on May 22, Rollin was expelled from Delon’s residence in Douchy and has since been barred from seeing him despite her repeated pleas for help. The publication highlights the emotional toll this situation has taken on her.

Laurence Pieau, co-author of the book, discussed Rollin’s current state in Point de Vue, stating, ‘She is broken.’ Pieau shared how challenging it was to get her testimony, noting, ‘For her, it is extremely painful to relive all of this.’

Now living on a pension of 1,200 euros per month, Rollin grapples with the emotional void left by Delon’s death and feels humiliated by her public expulsion. ‘She feels she has not been heard,’ Pieau continued. ‘She is shocked by how her eviction happened and saddened because she lost the love of her life.’

While Delon’s family has largely condemned Rollin, his youngest son, Alain-Fabien, recently spoke out to provide a different perspective. ‘She was my father’s partner. Period,’ he stated, challenging the family’s narrative and acknowledging the complexities surrounding Delon’s relationships.

Rollin, feeling rejected by those she considered friends for years, is striving to rebuild her life. ‘She is very sad that she could not say goodbye to Alain Delon,’ Pieau remarked. The end of her relationship with Delon casts a somber shadow over her life.
