Holly Madison Playboy Murders True Crime

LOS ANGELES, CA – Holly Madison, former Playboy model and reality TV star, is set to host the third season of ‘The Playboy Murders,’ a true-crime series exploring tragedies associated with the Playboy brand. The new season premieres this Monday on Investigation Discovery.

Madison, who moved into the Playboy Mansion at age 21, has been vocal about her experiences in Hollywood, describing it as having a “dark underbelly.” In an interview with Fox News Digital, the 45-year-old reflected on the risks young women face when they arrive in Hollywood pursuing fame.

“There’s definitely a dark underbelly,” Madison said. “When you’re that young woman who steps off the bus from the Midwest, there are leeches looking to take advantage of and destroy you everywhere.”

Madison revealed that her move into the Playboy Mansion felt safer than the struggles outside, despite the mansion’s controversies. “It felt safer to be living in this big, guarded house than out driving around in my car that’s ready to break down,” she stated. She remains critical of the predatory environment that can target women in the industry.

The first episode of the new season focuses on Kimberly Fattorini, a Playboy casting associate who died in 2017. Madison became familiar with Fattorini’s story after friends reached out to her via social media. “Everything about her story just looks so familiar to me,” she noted.

Fattorini died from a combination of alcohol, cocaine, and the drug GHB. Madison highlighted that Fattorini’s parents have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against several individuals connected to her case, which remains unresolved.

Reflecting on Hollywood’s potential dangers, Madison warned aspiring models to maintain strong friendships outside the industry for support. “Keep your circle of friends close. They can give you level-headed advice,” she stated.

Madison expressed hope that her participation in ‘The Playboy Murders’ will empower others to share their experiences. “To see other people who went through similar things as me feel empowered enough to come out and tell the truth, it feels good,” she said.

The new season of ‘The Playboy Murders’ airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Investigation Discovery.
