Holly Willoughby Clarifies ‘Naughty Word’ Incident on Dancing On Ice
Holly Willoughby has issued an apology to Dancing On Ice viewers in case it sounded like she said a ‘naughty word’ during the show’s introduction. The incident occurred when her co-host Stephen Mulhern startled her by speaking loudly through a megaphone at the start of Sunday’s episode.
After a few celebrities had performed, Willoughby paused the proceedings to address the situation. She clarified that it may have seemed like she uttered a profanity, but she doesn’t think she did. To confirm, she promised to review the episode on ITV Player, the platform where viewers can watch back the show.
In a playful manner, Willoughby jokingly blamed Mulhern for being ‘so naughty’ and causing her unexpected reaction. The 42-year-old presenter, who left her long-standing role on This Morning after 14 years, has been hosting Dancing On Ice since 2006.
After a brief break from television, Willoughby returned for the start of the new season of Dancing On Ice. Stephen Mulhern joined as her new co-host, replacing Phillip Schofield who left ITV last year.
For the third week’s movie-themed episode, Willoughby showcased her stylish outfit on Instagram. She wore a stunning black Rasario dress with a cross-strap neckline, a high split, and two white bows at the waist that camouflaged a keyhole cut. She completed the look with black strappy Jimmy Choo heels. Willoughby expressed excitement for the movie-themed show and invited viewers to join her on ITV.
The Dancing On Ice series continues to captivate audiences on ITV with its thrilling ice skating performances.
