Hollywood Unveils Star-Studded Summer Movie Lineup

Los Angeles, CA — Hollywood kicks off its summer movie season with a diverse slate of films featuring iconic characters and fresh stories. Starting May 2, Marvel‘s ‘Thunderbolts‘ leads the charge, introducing a new group of antiheroes.

Director Jake Schreier describes ‘Thunderbolts’ as a story about misfit characters attempting to collaborate for survival. “It’s a group of misfit toys that have been essentially thrown away at the beginning of the movie and have to figure out if they can work together to get themselves out of that mess,” he told the Associated Press.

In addition to sequels like ‘Jurassic World Rebirth‘ and a new ‘Superman‘ starring David Corenswet, audiences can expect diverse narratives. A comedic take on ‘The Naked Gun‘ and a gritty horror film titled ‘Weapons‘ will round out the season.
