J-Hope to Release New Single ‘Killin’ It Girl’ on June 13

SEOUL, South Korea — J-Hope, a member of the globally recognized K-pop group BTS, announced on Wednesday that he will release a new collaborative solo single titled “Killin’ It Girl,” featuring rapper GloRilla, on June 13. The single will be accompanied by a music video.
This upcoming track follows Hobi’s previous hits, “Sweet Dreams,” which peaked at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Mona Lisa,” which reached No. 65 on the same chart. In a press release, the song has been described as a hip-hop track that captures the excitement of falling in love at first sight, showcasing themes of infatuation and honesty.
J-Hope, 31, expressed his thoughts on the new song and its production, saying, “‘Sweet Dreams’ has a smooth, soulful vibe, while ‘Mona Lisa’ delivers hip-hop energy. Both tracks offer a glimpse into the evolved musical world I’m creating. This is just the beginning; I have much more music coming up.” He added that the production is “minimalistic,” balancing his rhythmic rap style with GloRilla’s charismatic delivery.
Alongside the collaborative version, J-Hope will also release a solo version of the track simultaneously. Currently, he is on his world tour, “Hope on the Stage,” with dates scheduled at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on May 31 and final performances at the Goyang Sports Complex in Seoul on June 13-14.
Expectations are building as fans eagerly await the new music and the overall visual concept, with promotional teasers and live performances also in the works.
