Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Spotted Together Post-Divorces

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were seen enjoying a low-key dinner together in Santa Monica, Calif., on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025. The former co-stars, who appeared in the 2022 Broadway revival of ‘The Music Man,’ arrived holding hands and shared a laughter-filled evening. Jackman, 56, dressed casually in a dark jacket and white jeans, while Foster, 49, wore a tan trench coat over an olive dress.

The outing comes after both stars recently ended long-term marriages. Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage. Foster filed for divorce from Ted Griffin in October 2024, following a decade of marriage. Representatives for both actors did not immediately comment on their dinner date.

Just days before their dinner, Jackman attended Foster’s performance in ‘Once Upon a Mattress‘ at Los Angeles’ Ahmanson Theatre on Jan. 4. He was joined by Carol Burnett, who originated Foster’s role in the 1959 production. Photos captured Jackman smiling as he held his phone up to Burnett, 91, during a special moment in the theater.

Foster and Jackman have spoken highly of their collaboration on ‘The Music Man,’ which ran on Broadway from December 2021 to January 2023. At the 2024 Drama Desk Awards, Foster praised Jackman, calling him ‘one of the greatest guys ever, an incredible co-star.’ Jackman, in turn, admitted he was initially intimidated by Foster’s talent and impressive résumé.

Both stars are navigating new chapters in their personal lives. Jackman and Furness, who met on the set of the Australian TV series ‘Correlli,’ emphasized their commitment to family in a joint statement announcing their separation. Foster, meanwhile, has been focusing on her acclaimed Broadway performances and personal growth following her divorce.

Next up for Jackman is a series of concerts titled ‘From New York, with Love’ at Radio City Music Hall, kicking off on Jan. 24, 2025. Foster continues to receive praise for her role in ‘Once Upon a Mattress,’ which has been a highlight of her recent career.
