2026 Hyundai Palisade Suv Model

NEW YORK – Hyundai introduced the U.S. version of its 2026 Palisade at the New York Auto Show, showcasing a bolder design and enhanced luxury features.

The new Palisade is larger than its predecessor, with a wheelbase that has been extended by 2.7 inches and an overall length increase of 2.5 inches. This additional space translates to improved legroom in the second and third rows, accommodating up to eight passengers when opting for the second-row bench seat. For those preferring captain’s chairs, the seating capacity reduces to seven.

Powering the Palisade is a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Potential buyers can choose between front-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations.

A significant development for the 2026 model year is the introduction of a hybrid powertrain. This variant combines a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, delivering a robust 329 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque. Like its gas-powered counterpart, the hybrid model is also available with either front- or all-wheel drive and features a six-speed automatic transmission.

Additionally, Hyundai has unveiled the XRT Pro version of the Palisade, designed for more rugged use. It comes equipped with 18-inch wheels fitted with all-terrain tires, increased ground clearance due to a raised suspension, and an electronic limited-slip rear differential.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade V6 models are slated to hit showrooms this summer, while the hybrid variant is expected to be available in the fall. With its combination of space, comfort, and luxury, the Palisade is positioned to compete strongly in the family SUV market.
