Iga Swiatek Surpasses Venus Williams in All-Time Prize Money
WUHAN, China — Iga Swiatek has officially become the second-highest earning female tennis player in history, surpassing Venus Williams in career prize money. Following her successful run in recent tournaments, Swiatek’s earnings have reached $42,945,490, eclipsing Williams’ $42,867,364.
The 24-year-old Swiatek, a six-time Grand Slam champion, has had a remarkable season, including three titles and a total of 61 match wins, the highest on the tour this year. In 2025 alone, she earned $9,417,532, trailing only World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who leads with $12,313,519.
Swiatek achieved this milestone after a strong performance in her matches in Asia, where she claimed her 25th career title in Seoul before competing in the tournaments in Beijing and Wuhan. The former World No. 1 is currently fourth on the all-time money list, with Sabalenka not far behind her with $42,480,621.
Swiatek is now only $464,869 away from matching Sabalenka, as they prepare for the upcoming WTA Finals in Riyadh, where a total prize pool of $15.5 million will be up for grabs. Other top players qualified for the tournament include Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, and Jessica Anisimova.
The all-time earnings leader remains Serena Williams, who amassed a staggering $94,816,730 throughout her prestigious 27-year career. With Swiatek’s current trajectory, she has a chance to further increase her earnings and win potential major titles in the future.
