India Post Announces 44,228 Vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevak Position
India Post, the largest postal network service in the country, has revealed plans to fill 44,228 vacancies for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) position through an online recruitment process. Interested candidates can apply for these positions by visiting the official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in, starting from July 15 until August 5, 2024. The selected individuals will be assigned roles as Branch Postmasters (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmasters (ABPM) / Dak Sevak for the upcoming financial year.
Salaries for the appointed candidates will range from ₹10,000 to ₹24,470 per month for ABPM / GDS roles and from ₹12,000 to ₹29,380 for BPM roles, offering a competitive compensation package.
The eligibility criteria for this recruitment drive include being between 18 to 40 years of age and possessing a Class 10 certificate from a recognized educational board. Additionally, candidates must provide their Secondary School Examination Pass Certificate that demonstrates passing marks in Mathematics and English from a government-recognized school board.
The application process consists of three stages: Registration, Application Fee payment, and Online Application submission, ensuring a streamlined procedure for interested applicants.
