Manchester City Players Training

Manchester City is facing a tough situation as injuries start to hit hard at the beginning of the season. Despite a solid win over Chelsea, several key players are missing from the lineup.

Manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that both Oscar Bobb and another player were unavailable for the game, raising concerns about the team’s depth. Bobb is currently recovering from a serious leg injury, undergoing surgery and expected to be out for several months.

In addition, Savinho, a summer signing, had to leave the match after just 45 minutes due to knee discomfort. While Guardiola stated that this issue isn’t too serious, it’s something that Savinho has dealt with in the past.

Guardiola also left Rodri at home for the Chelsea match after a hamstring injury during the Euro 2024 final. The good news is that he is back in training and could come back for the upcoming match against Ipswich.

The team has been working hard to manage these injuries and bring players back to fitness as quickly as possible, but it’s a tough road ahead for City as they navigate this challenging period.
