Isabela Merced Joins The Last of Us as Dina for Season 2
In exciting news for fans of the hit HBO series The Last of Us, Isabela Merced has been cast as the character Dina for Season 2. The announcement was made by co-creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, who praised Merced’s ability to embody the warmth, brilliance, and lovable nature of Dina.
Dina, a free-wheeling spirit and love interest of Ellie, will face challenges in a brutal world, testing the depth of her devotion. Merced’s addition to the cast follows the recent casting of Kaitlyn Dever and Nick Offerman in other key roles.
