Jason Biggs Discusses Weight Loss and Health Journey in New Interview

New York City, NY — Actor Jason Biggs, known for his role in “American Pie,” recently opened up about his health journey and weight loss at a gala on Tuesday. Biggs, 46, revealed that he lost 35 pounds due to cholesterol concerns.
“I had some cholesterol issues,” Biggs told Page Six, humorously attributing part of it to his love for ice cream. He shared, “Probably because of the … ice cream pints I would knock back.” Following his diagnosis, he adjusted his diet and fitness routine, stating that his cholesterol levels improved significantly, dropping by 70 points.
While he does not remember the exact timeline for his weight loss journey, he acknowledged that it took some time. Despite his healthier lifestyle, Biggs still enjoys ice cream as a guilty pleasure, specifically from a gelato shop in the West Village and occasionally indulging in Van Leeuwen ice cream.
In the same conversation, Biggs also reflected on his past struggles with alcoholism. He admitted that he concealed his addiction from his wife, Jenny Mollen, who he married in 2008. “I had it figured out to a T — to not get too drunk where I couldn’t have a conversation with you,” he explained.
Biggs previously celebrated one year of sobriety in 2018 after early attempts to overcome his addiction. The couple has two sons together, Sid, 11, and Lazlo, 7. Biggs continues to prioritize his health and well-being after facing his challenges.
