Jelly Roll Performs with Surprise Guests at Madison Square Garden
Renowned artist Jelly Roll commenced a bustling weekend in New York City with a headline performance at the illustrious Madison Square Garden on Friday night. The evening took an unexpected turn when Jelly Roll welcomed the audience with a surprise guest appearance by fellow singer Post Malone.
The duo entertained concert-goers by performing three tracks collaboratively. These included a cover of the renowned country anthem “Friends in Low Places,” a rendition of Malone’s track “I Had Some Help“—where Jelly Roll took on the part initially recorded by Morgan Wallen—and the live debut of “Losers,” a piece stemming from their collaboration on Malone’s “F-1 Trillion” album.
In addition to the unexpected Malone appearance, the concert featured a series of special guest performers. Alexandra Kay captivated the crowd with her covers of Toby Keith‘s “Should've Been a Cowboy” and Shania Twain‘s “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” Jessie Murph offered a performance of her original song “Wild Ones,” and the hip-hop icon Busta Rhymes made a surprising cameo to an enthusiastic reception.
Jelly Roll’s energetic visit to New York City is set to continue into the weekend. On Saturday, he is scheduled to perform at an undisclosed venue, which will also feature Post Malone. Following this event, Jelly Roll will head to the iconic Rockefeller Center to appear on the television show “Saturday Night Live,” where he will join as the musical guest alongside host Jean Smart.
His tour schedule will then take him across the river to New Jersey, where he will perform at Newark’s Prudential Center on Sunday. From there, Jelly Roll’s “Beautifully Broken Tour” is expected to leave the tri-state area as it moves onward to Pennsylvania.
