Jennifer Lawrence Die My Love Press Tour

LOS ANGELES, CA — Jennifer Lawrence discussed her filming experience for the new movie “Die My Love” on the “Las Culturistas” podcast. The movie, directed by Lynne Ramsay, features Lawrence as a woman who falls into psychosis following childbirth. Co-starring with Robert Pattinson, she revealed that they did not use an intimacy coordinator for their sex scenes.

Lawrence expressed confidence in her co-star, saying, “I felt really safe with Rob. He is not pervy and very in love with Suki Waterhouse.” She noted that their conversations focused on family and relationships, eliminating any awkwardness during filming.

The actress, who is receiving critical acclaim and Oscar buzz for her performance, also appeared nude in the film while pregnant with her second child. Reflecting on this experience, Lawrence stated, “I don’t care about nudity. I’m not sensitive about it.” She explained that being pregnant alleviated her anxiety about body image compared to her previous projects.

Lawrence recalled a moment during production when she was offered touch-ups for visible cellulite in a scene. She confidently declined, saying, “No. That’s an ass.” Her comments highlight a shift in her attitude towards body image, particularly in her approach to physical appearances while pregnant.

“Die My Love” is set to open in theaters on November 7, distributed by Mubi.
