Los Angeles, CA – Jennifer Lopez showcased her culinary skills with a grilled roast chicken recipe in a recent Instagram video. The 53-year-old actress cooked in her stunning Brentwood kitchen, which is valued at $7.4 million.

On Tuesday, she shared the video where she prepares Melissa Clark‘s popular dish. Lopez’s kitchen features modern wood cabinetry with gold hardware and gray slate countertops, perfect for her cooking endeavors.

The video highlighted a unique breakfast area featuring a Garrison chandelier by The Urban Electric Co. above a dining table from Lucca Antiques, surrounded by luxurious chairs. “We’re gonna grill a whole chicken!” she exclaimed in the video, recalling fond memories of cooking for her children.

In her caption, she wrote, “#PretendCookingShow: Grilled Roast Chicken. I’m sure this is cheating 57 ways, but the broth! Yum.” Lopez previously opened her kitchen to Architectural Digest, expressing her excitement about the space. “Since the day I moved in, this is the first time ever that the counter’s been clean,” she said.

Lopez shared how she loves cooking for her children during weekends, often feeding them as soon as food comes off the stove. She revealed that her kitchen design was inspired by her childhood in West Virginia, reflecting earthy, wood tones.

The actress enlisted the help of architectural duo Steve and Brooke Giannetti for the kitchen’s design. She emphasized the importance of making the home functional for her family of three kids: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

The cooking video has delighted her fans and followers, showcasing her passion for both family and food.
