NEW YORK, NY — Jinkx Monsoon, a two-time winner of RuPaul‘s Drag Race and a Broadway star, has been named the 2025 Logo Legend. The announcement coincides with Pride Month, a time when Logo honors icons within the LGBTQ community.

Jinkx Monsoon, known for her remarkable versatility, has performed various roles from Mama Morton in Chicago to Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. She recently returned to Broadway in Pirates! The Penzance Musical. Her acceptance of the Logo Legend title reflects her dedication to representing the LGBTQ community in mainstream media.

A celebration dinner was held to honor Jinkx, featuring fellow artists and friends like BenDeLaCreme, Alok, Anania, Chris Klemens, and comedian Murray Hill. During the event, they shared their thoughts on Jinkx’s impact. ‘She is timeless and also of the moment,’ activist Alok said in a tribute video. ‘She makes it look so easy,’ added comedian Chris Klemens jokingly.

BenDeLaCreme described Jinkx as a legend for being ‘extremely talented while also being fully herself.’ Anania emphasized the importance of supporting successful transgender individuals in the entertainment industry.

Jinkx’s influence extends beyond her performances. She is a passionate advocate for transgender rights and often uses her platform to raise awareness. In the tribute video, she discussed her affinity for playing villains, explaining, ‘When I’m playing the villain, I’m the one in charge.’

The event featured heartfelt messages from several celebrities, including Michelle Visage and Neil Patrick Harris. Jinkx Monsoon’s recognition as the 2025 Logo Legend underscores her exceptional career and contributions to the LGBTQ community.
