Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson Attend Oscars After-Party Amid Custody Dispute

LOS ANGELES, California — Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson were both seen at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party on March 2, just weeks after Turner-Smith accused Jackson of seeking sole custody of their 4-year-old daughter, Juno.
The former couple, who were married from 2019 to 2023, appeared at the star-studded event following the 97th Academy Awards. Jackson, 46, donned a burgundy velvet tuxedo, while Turner-Smith, 38, dazzled in a white Vivienne Westwood gown featuring intricate draping and a bold leg slit. She accessorized with a diamond and emerald choker and elaborate rings.
This outing comes on the heels of legal challenges between the two. In court documents obtained by E! News, Turner-Smith claimed that since their separation in 2023, Jackson had not paid any child support or spousal support, despite having reportedly engaged two law firms to pursue full legal custody of their daughter.
“At this point, it is clear that Josh is unwilling to negotiate reasonable pendente lite spousal and child support payments to me,” Turner-Smith stated in her filing. “I am left with no choice but to seek this Court’s intervention and file the instant motion.”
Turner-Smith is asking for $8,543 per month in child support, $28,641 in monthly spousal support, and $250,000 in retroactive support for legal fees.
In her filing, she emphasized her role as the primary caretaker for Juno during their marriage while noting Jackson’s success in his acting career. “Josh has been a successful working actor for over thirty years, while I am significantly younger and am still working hard to establish my acting career,” she argued. “During our marriage, Josh historically made more money than me and, at times, significantly more.”
A hearing to address these issues has been scheduled for April 11. E! News reached out to representatives for Jackson but received no response.
Despite their contentious legal battle, both stars are committed to their careers in Hollywood and making public appearances, underscoring their desire to remain relevant in the entertainment industry.
