JoJo Siwa’s Summer Tour Features Unpaid Roadie VIP Package

HOUSTON, Texas — JoJo Siwa is set to embark on her summer tour, kicking off on July 10 at House of Blues in Houston. The tour, which promises multiple stops across the country, has generated buzz due to its unique “Dream Guest VIP package.” This package offers fans the opportunity to assist with stage setup as unpaid roadies.
The tour will include stops in cities such as Minneapolis, Boston, Denver, and Detroit, concluding at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California, on August 9. During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Siwa explained the interactive nature of this VIP experience. “You are actually going to get to come while we’re loading in the show and help us set it up. You’ll be able to test out the drum or the DJ booth with me,” she said.
In addition to the manual labor component, the VIP package also provides autographed memorabilia worn by Siwa during performances, a Q&A session, a meet-and-greet, exclusive merchandise, a commemorative laminate and lanyard, early entry, pre-show shopping, and access to soundcheck. Fans will also have a say in song selection and can watch from a designated audience area of their choice.
Reactions on social media have been mixed, with some fans expressing disappointment over the idea of paying for manual labor. One social media user remarked, “JoJo Siwa having a $900 VIP ticket package where you can help set up the stage… girl what kind of s— is that?” Another wrote, “Paying over $900 to work is mad,” highlighting the surprising nature of the offer.
Siwa, previously known for her kid-friendly image as a former Nickelodeon star, is in the midst of a rebranding effort. She first gained fame on the second season of “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition” and became a household name as part of the reality show “Dance Moms.” Her brand includes a range of toys and products aimed at children, available at retailers like Walmart. However, Siwa is now shifting gears toward a more mature image, recently releasing her EP “Guilty Pleasure,” which features the single “Karma.”n
In an Instagram post, Siwa encouraged fans to prepare for an entertaining evening, stating, “Get ready for a live concert featuring new songs, current songs, AND my kids’ songs, a GAYPOP DJ set, and an immersive party, all in the same night.” She also announced that $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Dancers Against Cancer charity, where she serves as a board member.
