Judge Dismisses Model’s Luxurious Child Support Demands

In a recent court case, model Lauryn Goodman found herself facing strong criticism over her extravagant requests for child support from footballer Kyle Walker. The proceedings took place at the Central Family Court, where a judge had to sort through a long list of demands that included luxury items worth tens of thousands of pounds.

Goodman sought a staggering £14,750 a month in child maintenance for her two children, Kinara and Kairo, along with requests for an air conditioning unit costing £33,000 and even a £31,000 artificial turf for their backyard. The judge, Edward Hess, was not impressed, describing her demands as excessive and unfounded.

After Walker fathered a daughter with Goodman, the court case revealed that he was already paying over £100,000 a year in support for Kairo. He argued that if he were just an average worker, they wouldn’t have gotten this far with such outlandish demands.

Goodman’s claims didn’t stop there. She mentioned needing a cleaner to help manage her large home, which boasts a glass staircase and big windows. The judge questioned the need for such extravagant expenses, suggesting simpler solutions instead.

Interestingly, Goodman had initiated legal proceedings just two days after Kinara’s birth. It was revealed in court that Walker had been involved with Goodman on and off for some time, a situation that unfolded amidst his existing marriage to Annie Kilner Walker.

During the ruling, Judge Hess remarked that Walker had acted with “dignity and generosity,” while Goodman wasn’t seen as trustworthy in her claims. The court concluded that many of Goodman’s requests were not justified and that she often overstated her financial needs.

Though Goodman thanked the judge for considering her children’s future in the ruling, she faced backlash for allegedly exploiting the situation to seek more money. The judge’s decision left many of Goodman’s luxurious claims unapproved, marking a significant moment in the high-profile family legal battle.
