Julia Louis-Dreyfus, the acclaimed actress known for her roles in ‘Seinfeld‘ and ‘Veep,’ has recently reflected on her viral 2014 Rolling Stone cover. In an exclusive excerpt from the premiere episode of Lemonada Media’s new podcast ‘My So-Called Midlife,’ Louis-Dreyfus discussed the experience of posing nude for the magazine with a pretend tattoo of the United States Constitution on her back. Despite initial nervousness, she trusted the photographer, Mark Seliger, and found the concept appealing. Louis-Dreyfus humorously noted that she didn’t realize how much of her body would be exposed in the photo, but she was ‘game’ for the shoot.

The Rolling Stone cover, which labeled her ‘The First Lady of Comedy,’ has been credited by ‘Girls Who Code‘ founder Reshma Saujani with shifting the conversation about aging and sexiness. Saujani believes the photo helped older women feel more comfortable and sexy in their middle age. However, Louis-Dreyfus remains skeptical about the impact, questioning whether it truly shifted the conversation.

In addition to reflecting on her past, Louis-Dreyfus is also involved in upcoming events. She will be hosting an evening conversation with Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa, to discuss Garten’s new memoir ‘Be Ready When the Luck Happens.’ The event will feature Garten sharing her personal story, from her childhood to her successful career as a cookbook author and television host.

Louis-Dreyfus is also set to appear on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ as indicated by journalist Jonathan Alter, who mentioned that he taped the show and will appear just after Louis-Dreyfus.
