Kai Cenat Launches Streamer University for Aspiring Creators

New York, NY — Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has officially launched Streamer University, a new initiative aimed at empowering content creators. The announcement was made on May 6 through a Hogwarts-style trailer shared on his social media platforms.
Cenat, known for his entertaining streams and viral moments, wants to share his knowledge with aspiring streamers. Enrollment for the program is now open, but only 150 applicants will be selected to participate. In a social media video, Cenat encouraged followers to ‘enroll now’ and expressed excitement about welcoming the first class of Streamer University.
‘Here, you will find a school where chaos is encouraged and content is king,’ he said in the trailer. ‘I look forward to seeing you all on campus for our first-ever semester.’
The concept of Streamer University comes after Cenat teased the idea during a Twitch livestream earlier this year. ‘I’m going to rent out a university over a course of a weekend. It will be streaming university,’ he stated at the time. He envisions a diverse curriculum featuring courses from famous content creators like Mark Rober and MrBeast.
As part of the program, participants will live on a college campus and engage in various activities that foster content creation. However, further details about the structure of the university have yet to be revealed.
Success in attracting interest has been overwhelming. Within the first hour of opening registration, nearly seven million applications were submitted, leading to the university’s website crashing due to high traffic.
For those interested, both students and teachers are encouraged to apply. After submitting applications, candidates must await acceptance letters, which will provide additional details on orientations and move-in dates.
Cenat, who earned $8.5 million in 2024 and boasts 17.1 million followers on Twitch, is dedicated to expanding opportunities for the next generation of content creators. His commitment is evident as he shares his success with friends and fellow creators, creating a bridge for aspiring individuals in the streaming community.
