Kannywood Mourns Veteran Actor Fati Slow Motion’s Passing

The Kannywood film industry is in mourning following the passing of veteran actor Fatima Usman, well-known as Fati Slow Motion. The news of Fati’s death was confirmed by Kano-based activist Mansura Isa on Tuesday.

According to Isa’s Facebook post, Fati passed away on Monday night in Habasha, near Sudan, where she will be laid to rest. Condolences will be received at her family residence in Ungwa Uku, Kano.

Executive Secretary of the Kano State Censorship Board, Abba El-Mustapha, also confirmed the sad news on his Twitter handle @abbaelmustaph1. He offered prayers for the departed soul, seeking Allah‘s mercy and forgiveness for Fati.

Fati Slow Motion had been a prominent figure in the Kannywood movie industry for over 15 years, entertaining audiences with her talent and dedication to the craft. Her loss is deeply felt by colleagues, fans, and the entire industry.
