Kansas City Chiefs Schedule and Recent Developments: Week 9 and Beyond
The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for their next few games, with several key matchups on the horizon. Their most immediate challenge is against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, November 4, as part of the NFL’s Monday Night Football. This game is set to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN, with streaming options available on Fubo in the U.S. and DAZN in Canada.
Following the Buccaneers game, the Chiefs will face the Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 10, at 1:00 p.m. ET. This game will be aired on CBS. The Chiefs’ schedule for the remainder of the season includes games against the Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, and a final game against the Denver Broncos again in January.
In addition to their upcoming games, the Chiefs are dealing with several player injuries that could impact their lineup. Rashee Rice is expected to face a multi-week absence due to a knee injury, potentially a season-ending ACL tear. This has prompted Coach Andy Reid to emphasize the need to spread the ball around to other receivers, including JuJu Smith-Schuster, Justin Watson, and Noah Gray. With Hollywood Brown also likely out for the season due to a sternoclavicular injury, the team is looking to Xavier Worthy and other receivers to fill the gaps.
The Chiefs are also addressing their running back situation, with Isiah Pacheco currently out. Carson Steele, Samaje Perine, and the newly re-signed Kareem Hunt are in contention for the lead back role. Clyde Edwards-Helaire could also enter the mix if he is ready to come off the non-football injury list.
