ATLANTA, GA — Rapper Boosie Badazz was involved in a car accident in Georgia on April 7, 2025, prompting controversial remarks from fellow artist Kanye West, who took to Twitter to express his views on the incident.

Reports indicate that Boosie, a known critic of West, was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with another car. Footage shared on social media showed the aftermath of the crash, with police and paramedics on the scene. Thankfully, Boosie emerged from the accident with only minor injuries, confirmed by his publicist.

According to Loren Lorosa, a journalist who spoke with Boosie’s representative, the rapper went to the hospital merely to ensure the driver was okay. “I just spoke to Boosie’s publicist who confirmed to me that… BOOSIE WASN’T HURT IN THE CAR ACCIDENT today that took place in Georgia,” Lorosa tweeted. She added that Boosie was looking at his phone momentarily before the collision occurred.

In the wake of the accident, Kanye West, who refers to himself as Ye, released a now-deleted tweet that seemed to respond directly to Boosie. “Man can everyone let this be a lesson. Don’t have the handlers make you go against God’s favorite,” he wrote. “For my entire life, every stupid-ass bum n***a I never barely even heard of that come out the woodworks coming at me — something bad always happen to them.”

This comment reignites the longstanding rivalry between the two rappers. Boosie has made headlines in the past for his critical remarks about West, and it appears their feud continues to simmer.

Despite the tension, Boosie’s incident has sparked concern among fans and followers, many of whom expressed relief that he was not seriously injured in the crash. “Glad to hear Boosie is okay, but the feud with Kanye just seems to get more intense,” tweeted one fan.

As of now, Boosie has not publicly addressed Kanye’s remarks or the circumstances surrounding the accident.
