Katia Lindor Shares Heartfelt Journey of Motherhood on Instagram

NEW YORK, NY—Katia Lindor, wife of New York Mets star Francisco Lindor, opened up about her emotional journey of motherhood after welcoming her third child, Koa. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she reflected on the fleeting moments of the newborn stage and her desire to instill lasting values in her children.
While Francisco has been focused on a challenging baseball season, Katia has embraced her new role as a mother of three. In her post, she wrote, “They say it goes by fast…and it’s true. They also say ‘third time’s the charm,’ but I’m not sure I believe that—because each of my three babies has been their own kind of magic.”
Katia highlighted the significance of the newborn stage, stating, “This stage—the newborn stage—is sacred. It’s the only time they’ll fit so perfectly in your arms, knowing nothing but warmth, safety, and the rhythm of your heartbeat.” She emphasized the responsibility parents have in nurturing their children, saying, “They’ll absorb what you give them, physically, emotionally, and so it’s important to choose wisely.”
Addressing the broader challenges of bringing a child into today’s world, Katia remarked, “This year, more than ever, I’ve felt the weight of the world outside our door. Bringing a child into that world is not something my husband and I do lightly. In many ways, it’s the bravest thing we’ve ever done.”
She expressed hope that the love she shares with her children will help them grow into future leaders and educators. “I’ve held each of my babies tightly through this phase—but this time, I hold him a little tighter. The world feels more fragile, and my hope is that the love I give him now plants seeds of strength, compassion, and purpose for the world he’ll one day help shape,” she added.
In her closing thoughts, Katia encouraged parents everywhere to invest love into their children’s future. “So here I am, pouring every single ounce of love I can into a future I hope is brighter for all my children,” she concluded.
