Katy Perry Lifetimes Tour 2025 Concert Stage

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. − Pop superstar Katy Perry is gearing up for her first global tour in seven years, the Lifetimes Tour, which kicks off April 23, 2025, in Mexico City. The tour, announced Monday, will feature 75 concerts across North America, Australia, South America, and Europe, including 40 shows in the U.S. alone.

Perry, who last toured in 2018 with her Witness: The Tour, has since become a mother to 4-year-old Daisy and retired from her role as a judge on “American Idol.” Despite these life changes, she promises her signature over-the-top performances, describing the tour as “Disneyland on wheels” and a “dance party.”

In an exclusive interview with USA TODAY, Perry revealed that the setlist will be partially shaped by fan feedback. “I am open to submissions. I might be doing a poll on social media,” she teased. The tour will include a “special section” that will alternate based on fan input, featuring deep cuts and B-sides from her extensive discography.

Perry also shared that her latest album, “143,” released in September 2024, will play a central role in the tour. The album, inspired by her journey into motherhood, is a “celebration of becoming a mother and all the love and the cliches that are true with it,” she said. Fans can expect to hear hits like “California Gurls,” “Dark Horse,” “Firework,” and “Roar,” alongside newer tracks such as “I’m His, He’s Mine” and “Lifetimes.”

For the first time, Perry will bring her daughter Daisy on tour. “She is so curious, and she’s such an extrovert. And she loves seeing Mommy happy,” Perry said. “I’m excited that I get to bring her around the world on my first world tour with her.”

The U.S. leg of the tour begins May 7 in Houston, with stops in Austin on May 20 and Dallas on May 21. Tickets for the U.S. dates go on sale January 31, with presales starting January 28.

Perry emphasized the importance of fan safety, urging attendees to “wear sensible shoes and stay hydrated” during the high-energy shows. With a mix of nostalgia and new material, the Lifetimes Tour promises to be a celebration of Perry’s 17-year career and a testament to her enduring connection with fans.
